THIS is the shocking moment a postman clobbers a man in the face during a heated row in a street.
The victim was filmed in a fiery dispute with the postie in Folkestone, Kent, at around 7pm on Friday.
The pair were locked in a fierce verbal exchange for about 10 minutes, with both men visibly shaking their fists at each other.
At one point, the postie, donned in his signature red Royal Mail uniform, is seen throwing his arms up in frustration as the victim points at his chest.
Seconds later, he wallops the other man in the cheek as shocked onlookers watched the bust-up in horror.
One resident filmed the altercation.
The victim can be heard shouting: “Because I know it would end up like this.
“And that’s the point, I really don’t want to do anything. I really don’t want to do anything.”
The postie made an inaudible reply.
The victim then said: “I’m not going to. But the way you are like this makes me f****** want to.”
Again, the postie makes a muffled response, leaving the victim to say: “I just said I don’t want to.
“I said, you’re making me want to.”
In a couple of seconds, the postie swings his right arm at the man and whacks him across the cheek.
As another man in Royal Mail uniform tries to de-escalate the situation, holding his arm between the two, the victim cries: “He just f****** whacked me.
“Get out of my way.”
Commenting on the scene, one local said: “We don’t know what it was about.
“The Royal Mail postman appeared to be goading the other man.
“I asked him to stop as there were kids around.”
Royal Mail said they are investigating the rift.
