Lorraine revealed there will be a schedule shake- up to ITV’s morning programmes after power was lost in her studio.

Sharing a video from her car, the presenter revealed that GMB will instead be extended.

The star told fans: “Hello there, I’m on my way to work but there’s been a little bit of a hoo-ha, there’s a power outage at the studio, so my show won’t be on today.

“But you can still watch GMB and they’re going to fix it round about 11 o’clock-ish so This Morning will still be on as well, but just maybe a little bit later.”

Continuing Lorraine said: “So it’s a bit of a shame, I was really looking forward to talking to Sharleen Spiteri from Texas but we shall reschedule and it’ll all be fine and I will see you tomorrow. Okay, bye!”

Viewers are used to tuning in from 9.30am until 10am Monday to Fridays to watch Lorraine in action.

But today, Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid, 55, and Ed Balls, 59, will remain on air for longer.

They kicked off their show at 6am, but will host ITV’s morning schedule until the power comes back on.

Lorraine said in her video that This Morning, hosted by Cat Deeley, 50, and Ben Shephard, 51, would also be delayed because of the outage, as it is filmed at the same studios as her show in Covent Garden, whereas GMB is broadcast in Gray’s Inn Road, in Holborn.

But Susanna and Ed later confirmed that they would just be on until the extended 10am, and after this time it would be business as usual with the ITV schedule.
