1. ‘Widow’s Bay’ Leads the Pack; ‘Heated Rivalry’ Secures Top Honor

Apple TV’s 19-time Emmy nominee Widow’s Bay dominated the comedy and freshman fields:
  • Triple Victory: The breakout series took home Outstanding Achievement in Comedy, Outstanding New Program, and Individual Achievement in Comedy for star Kate O’Flynn.
  • Historic Precedent: Over the past three consecutive years, the winner of the TCA Comedy Series prize has gone on to replicate that triumph at the Primetime Emmy Awards.
  • Program of the Year: Canadian production Heated Rivalry captured the night’s marquee prize, Program of the Year. It becomes the first series since Empire 11 years ago to win Program of the Year without taking any additional category trophies.
