Terrifying moment massive bison rams car in Yellowstone National Park

A bison slammed into a vehicle and burst a tire during a scary incident in Yellowstone National Park.

The encounter was caught on video and posted to TikTok by Tonya Names on Wednesday.

She said in the caption she was starting to roll her window up before getting any closer to the SUV in front of them that was moving slowly when the huge beast rammed it.

The video also captures the sound of air coming off the popped tire. The SUV was forced to pull over. The number of people inside the vehicle wasn’t clear from the video.

There have been other scary encounters with bisons in Yellowstone in the past. In late June, a 12-year-old was hospitalized after being injured by a bison near Mud Volcano, north of Fishing Bridge.

Then earlier in July, a man was walking with his grandson when he was attacked by a bison at Bridge Bay Compound near Yellowstone Lake.

The man identified as Carl Isom-McDaniel, 65, said that the bison didn’t show he was aggressive “or anything like that, until it picked a target.”

“That target happened to be me,” he said in an Instagram video.

McDaniel’s grandson wasn’t hurt.
