1. The Historic Golden Buzzer Moment: “Rise Up” (Judge Cuts)

During the high-stakes Judge Cuts round of America’s Got Talent (Season 11), 14-year-old vocal prodigy Jayna Brown delivered an indelible milestone in the show’s history with her soaring rendition of Andra Day’s inspirational anthem “Rise Up”.

• Unbridled Soul & Maturity Beyond Her Years: Despite facing intense pressure, Jayna demonstrated a level of vocal control rarely seen in teenage contestants. Blending technical R&B precision with raw, soul-stirring vulnerability, her effortless vocal runs and commanding belts held the audience spellbound.

• Louis Tomlinson’s Golden Buzzer Stamp of Approval: Her performance moved One Direction star and guest judge Louis Tomlinson to smash the coveted Golden Buzzer, catapulting Jayna directly to the Live Shows at the iconic Radio City Music Hall.

2. A Technical Masterclass: “Make It Rain” (Quarterfinals)

Transitioning to the Quarterfinals stage, Jayna raised the bar even higher by tackling the gritty, emotionally complex blues-soul track “Make It Rain” (originally by Foy Vance and famously covered by Ed Sheeran).

• Showstopping Climax & Dynamic Range: Jayna completely transformed the mood of the arena, building the track from a haunting, intimate verse into a thunderous vocal crescendo. Her precise pitch accuracy and powerful resonance proved she wasn’t just a powerful singer, but an artist capable of nuanced storytelling.

• Unanimous Standing Ovation: All four judges—Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel—joined the crowd in a roaring standing ovation. Simon Cowell lauded her execution as one of the standout vocal performances of the entire live competition, cementing her status as a elite musical talent with immense star potential.
