50 Cent had the Las Vegas crowd in stitches Saturday night after taking a pointed shot at his favorite target, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who’s currently locked in solitary confinement at a federal prison in New Jersey.

Performing at LIV Beach inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Fif paused between songs to thank the room. According to TMZ, he told the crowd, “You could’ve been anywhere, you picked being here. Thank you. You coulda been in Fort Dix with Puffy in the box.”

The place went crazy, and honestly, it’s hard to blame them.

Diddy was thrown into solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey this past week after getting into a fight with a fellow inmate who reportedly dissed him.

According to ABC News, prison staff quickly broke it up, but Diddy was immediately sent to the hole. His projected release date, which has shifted multiple times due to his participation in a drug rehabilitation program, currently sits at February 23, 2028.

That release date could get pushed back now depending on how the Bureau of Prisons handles the fight violation.

While his attorneys are still appealing his 50-month sentence, the prison brawl doesn’t help Diddy’s case for early release credit. He was convicted in July 2025 on two Mann Act counts for transporting people across state lines for sexual encounters and sentenced in October of that year.

Hovering over all of this is the story of Daphne Joy, the model and mother of 50 Cent’s youngest son, Sire.

Joy dated Diddy from 2021 until his 2024 arrest, and during the trial, a woman identified only as “Jane” testified for six days about a relationship matching that exact timeline.

Jane described being financially dependent on Combs and being coerced into drug-fueled encounters with multiple men.

Joy’s subsequent public statement in June 2026 essentially removed any remaining doubt about her identity as the mystery witness, though neither she nor her legal team ever officially confirmed it on record.

50 has been turning Diddy’s downfall into content gold for years.

When baby oil was found in Diddy’s homes during raids, 50 posted AI-generated videos of Diddy walking a runway drenched in it.

During the trial itself, he photoshopped himself into a jury box and told Instagram that Diddy “should have took the plea offer.” He even attended a charity Diddy roast in Miami and told the room he had brought shooters, then clarified that he meant camera operators.

50’s Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning landed three Emmy nominations.
