The professional dancer was left gutted as he bowed out of the competition alongside his celebrity dance partner, Vicky Pattison
Kai Widdrington has been seen being supported by his girlfriend in a sweet moment in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom viewers’ wouldn’t have seen.
The professional dancer was left gutted as he bowed out of the competition last weekend alongside his celebrity dance partner, Vicky Pattison.
The pair were the seventh couple to leave the BBC One dance contest during the latest results show on Sunday (November 16) night.
Vicky and Kai landed in the dreaded dance-off for the first time, having dropped to the bottom of the leaderboard with their Jive to Girls Aloud’s Sound of the Underground during Saturday night’s (November 15) live show.

THey then found themselves up against Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon in the dreaded dance-off, and they were seen performing their American smooth to My Guy by Mary Wells before Vicky and Widdrington, 30, reprised their jive.
Judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all decided to save Balvinder and Julian, and Craig Revel Horwood, who had the casting vote, said he would have done the same.

When asked by Tess about her time on the show, Vicky said: “It was so lovely while it lasted, and I’ve had the nicest time. I knew this week was a difficult one for me, and I tried my hardest as I have every week.
“Listen, I didn’t think I’d get past week one. And I’m really honoured to have shared this experience with so many amazing people. Mostly with this fella [Kai] right here.
“I don’t want to sound too cheesy but [to Kai] you’ve been the best partner a girl can ask for. I’m so sorry I didn’t get you to Blackpool but I feel like I’ve won just by having you as my partner and I’m so grateful.”
When asked by Tess about their brilliant partnership, Kai said: “Oh, goodness me. Where do I start? You [to Vicky] are everything that this series is about.
“Strong, confident, independent – and all that I can say is, I have loved every single second. I’m going to be gutted not coming to Blackpool with you on Monday. But I just want you to know that I feel like I have also won getting you as my partner, and you will live on in Strictly history forever.”
Kai has since reshared a post from his girlfriend, Chloe Wells, in which they could be seen sharing a kiss in the Strictly ballroom following the latest live show.
Alongside the post, she wrote: “Forever proud of you @kaiwidd,” before the dance reshared the post to his own Instagram Story, adding a simple red heart emoji.
Kai, who joined Strictly back in 2021, having already enjoying the role previously on the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars, and Chlow went ‘Instagram official’ back in April, after reports revealed the Kai was dating again following his split from his Strictly co-star Nadiya Bychkova last year.
Kai revealed he has officially moved on as he took to Instagram with a loved-up snap alongside his new girlfriend. In the adorable photo, the BBC star and Chloe Wells could be seen out in a bar and were looking at one another while sharing a sweet giggle.
“Happiness is underrated,” Kai captioned the post, with Chloe quick to respond simply with a red heart emoji in the comments section.
