Heart performed a trio of classic songs from their 1975 debut album ‘Dreamboat Annie’ at the Grammy Hall of Fame Gala 2026 in California over the weekend.
Each year, the Grammy Hall of Fame immortalises albums and songs that exhibit qualitative or historical significance and are at least 25 years old.
Heart’s 1975 debut album ‘Dreamboat Annie’ was among 14 recordings inducted at the Beverly Hilton ceremony on Friday night (8th May), and Heart marked the occasion by belting out the seminal songs ‘Magic Man’, title track ‘Dreamboat Annie’, and ‘Crazy on You’.
During their acceptance speech, Ann and Nancy Wilson honoured the Heart bandmates who made the record with them, including founding members Roger Fisher and Steve Fossen, and guitarist Howard Leese.

“These are the original gypsy tribe that started the whole thing,” Nancy said. “So, you are brothers. (Thank you) for your great energy, your resilience, your humour and your camaraderie.
“We did this together, and the beautiful poetry and music that we made together still resonates to this day; to this evening, so thank you.”
‘Dreamboat Annie’ has now been permanently added to the iconic catalogue residing at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

The Grammy Hall of Fame was established by the Recording Academy’s National Trustees in 1973.
The inducted recordings are selected annually by a special member committee of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts with final ratification by the Recording Academy’s National Board of Trustees.
With 14 new titles, the Grammy Hall of Fame currently totals 1,179 inducted recordings.
