THE Chase fans have blasted Jenny Ryan for her “cruel” insult about a contestant’s “gappy” smile.
Prison officer Ricky was mocked for the space between his teeth within seconds of meeting The Vixen.
She said: “There are more gaps in your knowledge than there are in your smile.”
While the witty line got a few laughs in the audience, many fans at home were left unimpressed.
One said: “I can’t believe the Vixen just told Ricky on the Chase that he has bad teeth!!
“How bloody rude! She’s no oil painting #TheChase.”
Another added: “More gaps in your knowledge than there are in your teeth! Listen to Miss World! How about f*** off?! #thechase.”
Someone else said: “More gaps in your teeth than there is in your knowledge’ HARSH #thechase.”
Others were keen to point out that Ricky had actually brought up his smile when host bradley Walsh asked what he’d do with the prize money.
He said: “You probably have noticed I have a little gap in the smile there.
“So the plan is if I get some money get a few facial repairs.”
Determined not to let the remark throw him off his game, Ricky returned with £3,000 for the prize fund.
After reaching an £8,000 total as a team, they lost out to The Vixen in the final round.
