MONDAY night’s episode of The Chase saw its host storm off after one contestant made an awkward blunder.

The ITV gameshow’s presenter, Bradley Walsh, introduced four new contestants to the panel, all of whom were eager to win a huge cash prize.

Hannah, Doug, Rusty and Sue were all up against the Chaser, in a bid to win the life-changing amount of money.

They’d been put up against Anne Hegerty, otherwise known as The Governess on the show.

But one contestant managed to wind up host Bradley rather than opponent Anne.

The second to take a shot at the cashbuilder was contestant Hannah.

She followed Doug, who was knocked out of the contest.

Whilst chatting away to Bradley, she accidentally referred to him as Doug, instead of his actual name.

Introducing her, Bradley said: “Next to face the Chaser, it’s Hannah, welcome to the show, Hannah!”

She replied: “Thank you, Doug!” to which he quickly replied: “Doug?”

Realising her mistake, Hannah said: “Doug? Why did I say Doug? He just left, sorry Brad!”

But it was too late as the host had already stormed away from his podium, and sat at Doug’s seat on the panel.

Hannah pleaded: “Come back out Brad!” as he quipped back:”That’s alright Hannah.”

Apologise one more time, Hannah said: “So you didn’t get knocked out, you are still here? Sorry Brad.”

Bradley laughed at the blunder and assured her: “No, it’s alright don’t worry.”
