The Grammy winner, 31, popped the question with a massive engagement ring for Lee. The pair’s news was shared via Lee’s friend Marina Hollyer’s Instagram Stories posted on Wednesday, Aug. 19. TMZ was first to report the news.

Hollyer posted a photo of the couple hugging one another, as Lee showed off her new piece of jewelry, a veil and a “Bride to Be” sash.

Hollyer’s caption read: “My best friend in the world just got engaged 🥹❤️, Love you more than words Toph ❤️❤️❤️!!!” She also included a photo of the engaged couple posing with their group of friends, as well as a snap of Lee holding her left hand to her mouth, showing off the diamond ring.

A rep for Malone did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The couple were first linked together after they were spotted in March 2025. A month later, the pair were seen going to dinner at high-end steakhouse Beefbar in Paris. Days later, the pair stepped out for a shopping spree in Paris. The pair shared a kiss after hitting several designer stores.

The news of their relationship came amid speculation that Malone, born Austin Post, and his former fiancée, Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, had split. The former couple were engaged in 2021, after the “Finer Things” singer popped the question in Las Vegas, he confirmed in a 2023 interview with Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast.

In May 2022, he revealed that he and his then-fiancée were expecting their first child together. He later confirmed his baby girl’s arrival in an interview with Howard Stern in June 2022. He has yet to reveal her name or exact birth date.

“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad. Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE in May 2022.
