THE Floor fans have defended a contestant’s answer on a recent episode of the game show.
On Wednesday, The Floor guest Gabriel lit X, fka Twitter, on fire after he provided a wrong answer that many felt was correct.

Today’s competition featured Gabriel going toe-to-toe with his opponent Chris.
The eventful game came to a shocking turn during a round that incorporated fruit.
Placed on the board was a photo of a fruit that had the outward appearance of a canteloupe and looked like a honeydew melon on the inside.
Chris guessed that the unnamed fruit was a grapefruit, and Gabriel guessed that it was either a muskmelon or cantaloupe.

Both contestants were wrong and lost points since the right reply was honeydew.
Despite Gabriel incorrectly guessing what the fruit was, there were several viewers who agreed with Gabriel and felt he was gypped.
They shared their thoughts on X.
“Is no one going to mention that the damn melon in the picture was NOT a honeydew? #TheFloor,” a fan tweeted.
Another cosigned: “Not honeydew. That was a cantaloupe! #TheFloor.”
A third admitted: “It absolutely was NOT honeydew! I feel like that contestant should get to come back! What a ripoff!”
A fourth noted: “…I literally was questioning my life thinking there was a variety of honeydew I didn’t know about. But based on the rind…I also think it was cantaloupe!!”
‘NOT HONEYDEW’
Most didn’t believe the fruit shown was anywhere close to a honeydew melon.
“That was not a honeydew #TheFloor,” one person asserted.
Adding, another agreed: “That was a cantaloupe!!! Not a honeydew!!! #TheFloor.”
A separate fan remarked: “Maybe it’s different in different parts of the country but that thing they called a honeydew sure looked like a cantaloupe to me?!? #Thefloor.”
Someone else shared: “Someone’s gotta tell #TheFloor that their ‘Honeydew’ was a Cantaloupe!”
PURPOSE OF THE FLOOR
The Floor is a new trivia show in which 81 contestants stand on pieces of the floor.
They all have a category that they are an expert in and have to battle other contestants in ones they might not know so well.
The goal is to conquer most of, if not all of the floor, to win the grand prize.
After three episodes in, one contestants has won over 10 pieces while others have yet to test their knowledge.
After three episodes, around 50 contestants remain.
Rob Lowe hosts the Fox show, which airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c.
While many fans are entranced with the show, some have pointed out clues that it may actually be fixed.
‘WHY WAS HE RECITING THINGS?’
A fan took to X to ask others if they caught what a contestant did on the second episode of the show’s debut season.
“So is #TheFloor just totally rigged? Why was that dude reciting cereal names before the duel started? They’re clearly getting prepped with flash cards for every category. This is so fake,” they tweeted.
Tom, who had just won the previous duel, was going up against Greg, who inherited the category Cereals.
Tom won the category, eliminating Greg, and taking over the most spots on the floor.
However, one fan saw something that had them scratching their heads.
As the time counted down for the category to begin, Tom started reciting names of cereals.
“Golden Grahams,” he whispered. “Teddy Grahams. Cheerios.”
However, Tom was just saying names of cereals that he could think of, so his mind didn’t go blank during the category.
